Braves Star Outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. Benched For Lack Of Hustle

Share:

Acu??a saw a fly ball that he hit at the bottom of the third inning of yesterday’s 5-3 win against the Dodgers like it was a home run but it struck the perfect field wall and also that which should happen to be an extra-base hit flipped into one and he had been thrown out trying to steal second base.
Braves director Brian Snitker pulled Acu??a from the game instantly because of his lack of hustle on the play.
«There is no excuse for this. I just kind of took it and said’Obviously’ He is the supervisor, I am the participant and I will respect his choices,» Acu??a said about being pulled out of the game in the fourth inning.
«You have gotta rush. It is not gonna be acceptable here,» Snitker informed reporters. «As a teammate, you’re accountable for 24 other men. That title on front is a lot more significant than that title around the back of the jersey. You can’t do this. We’re attempting to accomplish anything and do something unique here. Personal things have to get placed on the back burner.»
Acu??a is young and he’ll make mistakes but he’s handling this episode the ideal way. The gifted outfielder is hitting on .296 with 35 home runs and 85 RBIs in 125 matches and if he learned his lesson afterward the incident will be forgotten right away.
