Wales will soon be without Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey to get Thursdays Euro 2020 qualifier from Slovakia.
The 28-year-old didnt travel with the remainder of the squad because of concerns over his fitness.
But, Wales director Ryan Giggs is optimistic Ramsey will soon be around for Sundays match with Croatia at Cardiff.
He felt a little stiffness in his adductor (muscle). He coached today and we are hopeful he will play Sunday, Giggs said on Wednesday.
The physio has stayed back to use him for a few days
Ramsey is to feature played for Wales in November 2018 and qualifying due to injury.
He sat out Juventus win together with coach Maurizio Sarri stating while warming up at half-time felt a twinge in his abductor muscle.
Ramsey has impressed in Italy because making his Juve debut September, scoring he joined on a free transfer in the summer.
