The Oakland Raiders have introduced wide receiver Antonio Brown just two weeks before the NFL season opener of the team.
Brown, 31, was fined following a confrontation with general manager Mike Mayock on Friday but had been expected to face the Denver Broncos on Monday.
The news came just hours after Brown published a message on Instagram that finished:»Publish me @raiders.»
Brown became among the NFL broad receivers when Oakland was combined by him from Pittsburgh in March.
He arrived from the Steelers on a three-year deal worth more than $50m (#41m) each season.
Brown has not received any money by the Raiders so far.
The group supported Brown’s death in a announcement.
Brown will now signal for any group as a free agent and isn’t subject to waivers.
«We are focused on the long run and I will quickly work on signing him to a new group,» Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus told NFL.com.
«Antonio is excited about a new beginning.»
Brown’s launch comes at the end of dramatic time for the player.
He’s missed time because of accidents to his toes caused by entering a room without wearing proper footwear since coming at the Raiders.
He sat out a further length of the off-season during a battle with the NFL along with his helmet.
The altercation between Brown and Mayock contributed morning making an apology in a team meeting on Friday, also finished with the group needing to be separated, according to reports.
