The Oakland Raiders have released wide receiver Antonio Brown two days before the group’s NFL season opener.
Brown was fined after a confrontation with general manager Mike Mayock on Friday however had been expected to handle the Denver Broncos on Monday.
The news came just hours after Brown posted a message on Instagram that finished:»Publish me @raiders.»
Brown became one of the NFL broad receivers when Oakland was joined by him in March from Pittsburgh.
He arrived from the Steelers on a three-year price worth greater than $50m (#41m) per season.
Brown has apparently not got any cash from the Raiders so far.
The group supported Brown’s departure in a one-line statement on their official site.
Brown may currently sign for any group as a free agent and isn’t subject to waivers.
«We are centered on the long run and I will immediately work on signing up to a new team,» Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus told NFL.com.
«Antonio is looking forward to a new start.»
Brown’s release comes at the conclusion of period for the participant.
He has missed time because of accidents to his feet caused by entering a room without wearing appropriate footwear since arriving at the Raiders.
He then sat out a further length of the off-season during a battle with the NFL on his helmet.
The altercation between Brown and Mayock led creating an apology on Friday morning, and ended needing to be physically separated, based on reports.
