Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has revealed he had been discussing the upcoming match against Watford, if they learned he had been sacked of Sunday.
Watford chose to part company with Gracia past Saturday five matches – all which ended in defeat – into the new effort, and five weeks after he led them outside.
Quique Sanchez Flores substituted gracia, which makes his return to Watford three years from Vicarage Road following his departure.
Regrettably for Gracia, the information of his sacking coincided with the chance meeting with his friend, Emery, in Spain.
