Week 3 of this 2019 NFL preseason favorite Tennessee Titans at Nashville and comes with a game between the Pittsburgh Steelers to a stop on Sunday night.

We are used to viewing NFL activity on Sundays, right? Well one Sunday match in Week 3 of the preseason and it’s going to be the final afternoon of Sunday NFL till Week 1 of the regular period. That’s because all groups play on Thursday in Week 4 of the exhibition program. The Pittsburgh Steelers head to Week 3 to be closed out by the Tennessee Titans.
Both ended with nine wins last regular season and missed the playoffs. The Titans could have claimed a Wild-Card place if they had won Week 17 at home vs. Indianapolis, however, the Colts were clearly superior and rolled into a 33-17 victory. Beginning Titans QB Marcus Mariota overlooked the game and Blaine Gabbert was awful in his own position.
Pittsburgh needed a Baltimore home loss to Cleveland and a Week 17 win over Cincinnati to the Steelers to choose the AFC North. Pittsburgh did its project with this franchise with a 16-13 victory — with no star receiver Antonio Brown in his final act of defiance. However, the Ravens and a 26-24 win over the Browns did not collaborate.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is 2-0 this year and a within his preseason livelihood despite not enjoying starting QB Ben Roethlisberger yet. The Steelers played their first two in your home, edging Tampa Bay 30-28 at Week 1 and then beating on Kansas City 17-7 last week. Going by Tomlin’s background, Big Ben ought to play with a bit on Sunday. Mason Rudolph and joshua Dobbs are competing for the backup task, with most covering the Steelers thinking Rudolph is leading.
Titans coach Mike Vrabel is 1-1 this season — Tennessee has yet to win a home exhibition game in his two seasons. The Titans were first Week 1 winners in Philadelphia 27-10 and subsequently lost 22-17 in the home to New England last week but directed most of the match. A TD pass won it for the Pats. Would although mariota and the Titans first-team offense has just played four series thus far the first half of the one.
Leading has to perform in the preseason due to a calf injury but did return this week to practice. Not clear if this means he may go in this . No. 1 tight end Delanie Walker broke his arm in Week 1 last year and had not played until last week at the Patriots. He even caught a TD pass from Mariota. The Titans’ offense isn’t the same with Walker, the greatest tight end in business history. Meanwhile, the Mariota’s copy Ryan Tannehill has been great this preseason with a 130.8 passer rating, completing 19 of 27 for 214 yards. Some think he may steal the job at any stage this season out of Mariota.
These groups played in Week 3 however in Pittsburgh, too in the 2018 preseason. The Steelers won 16-6. Big Ben, which makes his preseason debut of’18, was 11-for-18 for 114 yards and a touchdown in 3 series. Mariota and a lot didn’t play and was 5-for-8 for 43 yards and a selection. He missed wide-open Corey Davis for what could have been a very long touchdown on Tennessee’s opening drive.
We’ll take the Titans here as I am certain they’d like to end that house preseason losing streak.
