Week 3 of those 2019 NFL preseason favored Tennessee Titans at Nashville and comes to a conclusion on Sunday night.

We are used to viewing NFL activity on Sundays, right? Well, only one Sunday game in Week 3 and it’s going to be the last day of Sunday NFL until Week 1 of the regular season. That’s because all groups play on Thursday at Week 4 of the exhibition schedule. The Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Tennessee Titans to close 3.
Both finished last regular season and just missed the playoffs. The Titans would have maintained a Wild-Card spot if they’d won Week 17 at home vs. Indianapolis, but the Colts were certainly superior and rolled to a 33-17 victory. Despite not playing starting QB Ben Roethlisberger yet steelers coach Mike Tomlin is a within his preseason career and 2-0 this season. The Steelers played with their first two then beating Kansas City and edging Tampa Bay 30-28 at Week 1. Transferring by the background of Tomlin, Big Ben must play with a little . Mason Rudolph and joshua Dobbs are competing together with covering the Steelers believing Rudolph is currently top.
Titans coach Mike Vrabel is 1-1 this season — Tennessee has yet to acquire a house exhibition game. The Titans were Week 1 winners from Philadelphia 27-10 and subsequently lost 22-17 at home to New England but led all the game. It was won by A late TD pass . The Titans first-team offense along with mariota and four series have just played so much for Vrabel but could the first half of the one.
Leading has to perform in the preseason because of a calf injury but did come back to practice this week. If that means he might go in this , not clear. No. 1 tight end Delanie Walker broke his arm in Week 1 last year and hadn’t played until last week vs. the Patriots. He even caught a TD pass. The Titans’ offense just isn’t the same with Walker, the best tight end in business history. Meanwhile, Mariota’s copy Ryan Tannehill continues to be excellent this preseason with a 130.8 passer rating, completing 19 of 27 for 214 yards. Some think he may slip the job out of Mariota at some stage this season.
These teams played Pittsburgh but although in Week 3, also at the 2018 preseason. The Steelers won 16-6. Big Ben, which makes his preseason debut of’18, was 11-for-18 for 114 yards and a touchdown in a few series. Mariota and with a ton did not play and has been. He overlooked for that which would have been a long touchdown on the opening drive of Tennessee, wide-open Corey Davis.
We are going to take the Titans here as I am certain they’d like to finish that home preseason losing series.
