BIG MARLEY’S UFC FIGHT NIGHT 132 DRAFT KINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN

This week, we have a Fight Pass card in Singapore. Because it’s in Singapore, we must wake up at 4:30am ET to watch it live. I’ve already set the alarm and I will be up ready to sweat these early fights. DraftKings does not have many large tournaments this week so that I will be playing more money games and less GPPs. I’ll still have 3 GPP lineups but most of my investment that this week will be in money games. But, there is still money to be won so here are a Couple of plays I like and my fade of the week:
Cash Game play of the week — Stack, Leon Edwards ($8,600) AND Donald Cerrone ($7,600)
Donald»Cowboy» Cerrone is never in a boring fight. Whether he wins or loses, his fights usually score as a whole along with also the winner nearly always pays off their cost in DraftKings. I usually search for at least 100 total points should I pile up a struggle in money and I think for this being a probable 5-rounds, it must score well over that. Should Edwards win this battle, it’s probably an early KO, and if this happens he’ll score very high. If Cerrone wins, then he could lock up a submission or a knockout and that will easily 10x his cost of $7.6k. But in any event, you have the winner in your lineup and the guaranteed 30-90 win bonus points if you do stack. I think this battle is going to be fun as long as it lasts and there ought to be a fantastic amount of points added up until these two get completed. If this does go 5 rounds, then these two should nevertheless get over 100 total points together with the pace Cowboy brings to the table.
GPP play of the week — Li Jingliang ($9,200)
Li Jingliang always puts on a show when he measures in the Octagon. He is a fast pace fighter that scores well on DraftKings when he wins. I think he must be the better fighter wherever this struggle ends up against Abe. In addition, I believe he can complete this battle on the feet or the ground and if that happens he’d very likely pay off his high price tag of $9.2k. He is the 3rd most expensive fighter on the card and I believe he has the maximum ceiling. That is what we desire in GPPs is a high ceiling, so that’s why Jingliang is my GPP play of the week.
Underdog drama of this week — Song Yadong ($7,900)
Song Yadong is my favorite DraftKings»underdog» this week. His gambling line has changed to him being a small favorite at -120 however he’s $400 cheaper than his opponent. I think saving that $400 is a good transfer in cash or GPP games so that I like Yadong in most formats. I think Yadong will seem to keep this fight on the feet and search for that KO win. If he does get the win, then I think he should easily pay off that cost and get at least 10x.
Fade of the week — Viviane Pereira ($8,800)
My primary difficulty with Pereira is that she’s too pricey. At $8.8k, I need at least 88 points out of her and I think she needs get an end to do that. I really don’t see that happening and does Vegas using a +617 ITD line. She doesn’t strike a high enough pace or land enough takedowns to score 88 points in my opinion. In her 2 UFC wins she held her opponent against the fence to get a good section of the struggle and no points are being scored when that occurs. If she does this again here, there is no way she even comes close to 88 points in spite of a win. I have a complete fade on Pereira this week and I will compensate for other favorites instead.
