New York fans at a Yankees baseball game booed Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones when he appeared on the board Monday night.
On Tuesday, the hullabaloo was disregarded by the for his part during a conversation on The Rich Eisen Show.
«I surely do not pay a whole lot of attention to it,» Jones told Eisen when requested about the boos. «You’re conscious of it. Iconcentrated on trying show some progress over these fourteen days and to clinic as well as I could these past six weeks and’m focused on what we’re doing here. When discussing adding a rookie QB behind Eli Manning, GM Dave Gettleman noticed that such a individual must be mentally tough enough to survive the strain of New York. «I don’t understand. I think everybody on our staff is trying to demonstrate that they can play,» Jones said. «And everybody would like to play. When coach said that I think that’s what any coach does at any degree in any sport. Everyone would like to be on the field, like I said, it is all of our goals to prove that we can play, veterans, rookie. We’ll see how it works out, but I’m eager to find just a little bit of time but I am excited to return and get to work.»
