Trainer Aidan Fogarty reports his celebrity filly Forever after her below-par campaign from the Sprint Cup at Haydock to have scoped In Dreams.
After winning a Listed prize at the Merseyside venue in May, the girl of Fantasy Ahead was snapped by the Phoenix Ladies Syndicate before her run from the Commonwealth Cup in Royal Ascot – and also did her new owners proud with a huge effort to finish next to Martyn Meade’s Advertise.
She left her first competitive appearance since from the Group One characteristic at the weekend, but ended a disappointing 10th of 11 runners behind the Hello Youmzain, who was one place behind In hindsight at the Royal meeting of Kevin Ryan.
«She scoped badly when she came home, so at least we have a reason,» said Fogarty.
«The very first matter Billy (Lee) stated after the race was that she sensed somewhat flat, which can be unlike her, as she usually travels nicely.
«She played up a bit in the parade before the racewhich she does not do, so perhaps she understood more than we did.
«She had been fine straight after the race, but once we scoped her home on Sunday that it was not correct, so she’s on the easy list.
«We’ll see just how she is, but she’s in the Foret at France and she can run there if we are happy with her»
