BREAKING: STIPE MIOCIC OUT OF UFC FIGHT NIGHT 76 CO-MAIN EVENT AGAINST BEN ROTHWELL

MMAOddsBreaker.com can now officially confirm UFC Heavyweight Stipe Miocic has been forced from his forthcoming UFC Fight Night 76 bout against Ben Rothwell because of an unspecified training accident. Both top 10 fighters were scheduled to throw down in the co-main event of following Saturday’s (October 24, 2015) occasion in Dublin, Ireland, which is headlined by the lightweight battle between Joseph Duffy and Dustin Poirier and will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. Miocic (#3 rated HW) was coming off the very impressive performance of his career, a fifth round TKO stoppage of former title challenger Mark Hunt where he place a UFC heavyweight record for most strikes landed in one fight. He has won four of the last five fights with his only loss being a competitive decision against former champion Junior dos Santos. Rothwell (#7 rated HW) is now riding a three-fight win series which included surprising first round angry stoppage victories over both Matt Mitrione and Alistair Overeem. There has been no word yet regarding when Rothwell will probably be forced off the battle card or whether or not UFC matchmakers are going to have the ability to get a last minute replacement.
